Uncharted is the most universally acclaimed series on the Playstation 3. The first one was praised well by reviewers but wasn’t perfect due to the underwhelming length of the whole game. Last year Uncharted 2 came out and blew everyone away with it’s amazing story telling, life like characters and addictive multiplayer experience. It won numerous game of the year awards and to this day still garners praise from many renowned developers around the world.

With the recent leak on facebook regarding the announcement of Uncharted 3 (Not like we didn’t know it was coming ) I’ve decided to look at all the cool new settings we could expect to see in the next installment. What is an uncharted game without some beautiful locations for us to explore!

Sand/Egypt

If you thought Naughty Dog pulled off snow very well, imagine sand! They could make it extremely life like, with the sand blowing everywhere in beautiful egypt. Imagine raiding tombs, hunting for treasure in pyramids, avoiding traps. The list could go on on. I wouldn’t be surprised if the next installment had something planned in Egypt!

Underwater/Atlantis

We’ve seen how beautiful the water looks in uncharted, but what if we could go underneath and explore the hidden depths of the sea searching for Atlantis! We’ve seen in U2 that Naughty Dog love to add cool twists and exotic locations such as Shambala, imagine Atlantis!!!

I’m sure we could end up with a whole slew of different locations, such as space for example. I mean you never know what Naughty Dog will do next with the Uncharted franchise. Whatever they do, one thing is for certain, it’s going to turn out to be one hell of game!!
