Practical activities would provide me with an opportunity to show my students a procedure or illustration from which they will be able to learn. The purpose is to make my students understand the concept of Mechanics using practical examples. And perform the activity in front of them so that they can understand this topic clearly through visual. The time and date when the activity would be performed would be set before hand. The idea is to show the students an experiment and then ask them perform the activity by themselves. The instruments required to perform the experiment would be set up beforehand. The topic covered would first be discussed in class so that when they are seeing the practical they would know what is happening and what the physics behind it is. But then again if any student fails to understand the experiment then I will again explain it to them while I am performing the experiment. This would be really effective as the students would get to see the experiments that they read about in their books and perform it by themselves and grasp the concept of physics easily with a lot of fun.
