Technology befriending mother nature.

I am Nievel, a celestial being from the 7th chamber of planet X5A under X5AG galaxy.
I’ve been around planet earth for nearly a century.

When I arrive on this planet, I am jealous on the splendid surroundings. A fully soiled planet plugged with multiple green poles they called trees. A vast liquid they call sea comprising many species. And with an oxygen-filled upper sector they called sky.

All of these are very much different from where I came. All I can see from our planet are silicon-made structures obliterating any light from the outside. Our upper sector is filled with carbon, making it darker all through out. Earth is much more different, more lively, more vibrant. I don’t want any other planet more superior than mine. I’m so eager to destroy this that I want to go back to my planet to get an anti-matter canon.

However, I notice my ship cannot propel up in the air. My ship needs a lot of carbon dioxide on the environment to fly. This planet is free from pollution. Its cleanliness hinders me from going back. I am stranded. But what else can I do? I am on my own.

Well, that was a century ago. In spite of my solitary existence, I am now able to blend with humans. I use polysynthetic organic material to make human-like skin so I look like a human.

I am talking to a lot of people. Encouraging them to create pollution without them knowing it. I’ve been jumping from company to company, talking to CEOs and a lot of employees, brainwashing every human existence to destroy environment. Little by little, I am able to conquer every company that I set in. All earthly technology should be capable of destroying your earth. And I have influenced several companies to do this.

And now, I indulge myself on company that deals with printing. This technology which humans called Printers!!!

An evil grin reflects on my face saying this is too easy to conquer. I have plan how to make printers devilish to all.

My first plan is to come up of ways to waste papers. The more paper wasted, the more trees being wasted.

However, they are not following my designs. They have implemented document scanning that helps reduce usage of papers. Instead of printing paper documents, an individual can make a scan copy of that documents and distribute it digitally over different computers.
Aside from scanning, I can see printers that do two-sided printing. My anger began to rise as I see 2-page documents being printed on a single paper instead of printing it on two papers.

Those printers also conserved papers by using Print Preview feature. Instead of actually printing it to see the results, they just have to see the preview first before printing.

My anger is building up as I see more printer features.
The inks, for example, are using 60%-70% water without mixing harmful chemicals that poses bad environmental effects.
The printers are also energy efficient. They have an Eco-mode feature that lowers power consumption for as much as 28%. And when not in use, the printer will automatically power down, thus reducing power consumption.

Also, the packaging of these products uses cartons and cardboard making it fully recyclable materials.

I write this article to tell you I am defeated in my plan for earth destruction. These printers work hand in hand with the world.

Oh by the way, do you know what printer company is that?
It’s Lexmark.
