Candles are never used for daytime settings.  At least four candles can be used on table about 1.8 meters long.

An abundance of candlelight makes glass and silver sparkle and provides a soft glow to the entire setting.

Always remember though that candles must be above eye level and placed on candle holders, Ivory is most satisfactory because it blends well with other colors.
