Minutes of the Auroa School PTA Meeting Held 1st September 2010 Room 6 Auroa School at 7.00pm.

 

Present: Jill Corbett, Gary Wapp, Michelle Cathie, Jenny Hughes, Vicki Symes, Megan Gardner, Ann Putt, Catherine Cook, Bernadette Forsyth, Robyn Bellve, Bronwyn Richmond- Elliott, Heath Chittenden, Sue Adamson

 

Apologies: D Mellow, Shelley Clarke, Tony Boshier

 

Moved that the apologies be accepted: Gary Wapp, seconded Robyn Bellve

 

The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed as true and correct. Moved Gary Wapp, Seconded: Anne Putt

 

Matters Arising:

 

  • Sports Flags have arrived from Icon Sports and have been paid for by school.
  • 4 day old calves – Jenny Hughes spoke to stock buyer at RD1 are they are happy to do this next year as a fundraiser for PTA.
  • Hand Sanitiser – Jill rang the Pack Centre and 1 litre is $31.00 and does 1600 washes. The dispensers are given to school. This was discusses and it was decided it would be too expensive long term.

·         Letter from Abacus Group saying they will not donate anything for Learning Garage Fundraiser.

·         Letter from Harris & Taylor and a $50 voucher to Two Chefs

·         $500 cheque Eltham Vets

·         5kg turnip bag form AgriSeeds

·         Letter from Riverlands re Auroa School Calf and Lamb Day

·         IRD – GST changes

·         Pie warmer invoice for $50.00

·         $93.75 interest on term investment
