Last day of November and rain, rain, rain.

It’s raining in November

The skies are dark and grey

Nothing makes it more dismal

On what should be a winters day

I love the snow

But not as yet

Though I’m tired of the rain

Getting me wet

Tomorrow is December

What can we expect?

Will it be snow?

Or more rain to get us wet

The pressure is low

And so are the clouds

This weather is starting

To get me down

It’s been warm and unseasonal

But at least it’s not snow

Too soon to think of Christmas time

With the lights all aglow

I do look forward to that time

When everything is so pretty

But for now I think that we will see

More rain in this city

Beautiful poem, I know you are tired of the rain, I will trade you my snow for your rain.

Nice. Where I am it is always hot, whether raining or not.

Thank you lpshady & Leo. Sometimes I think it would be nice to be hot all year but I do not take well to the sun and I would miss snow at Christmas. I do love the seasons.

Well we have had the snow and now we have the rain and all the snow has been washed away. You will have your snow soon I am sure. A very expressive piece.

I know the snow will come, it’s just late this year.
It sprinkles at night then gone by morning.

Christine, I’m glad your snow is gone. I know everything shuts down when it comes.
