“REFRESHING LIFE” in  the service industry

“CAREER”-is a word that i am sure exists    in everybody’s dictionary, be it the younger generation of today or the generation of yesteryear. In the existing cut-throat competition, the traditional streams such as  medical and engineering have been replaced by  “smart careers” offered by the service industry.

            Service industry and more specifically, the aviation sector offers just the right kind of openings  that an ambitious,industrious and career-oriented person  looks for.Telecom sector,internet service provider companies such as BSNL,VSNL,Mantra online and hospitality industry provide the right kind of platform to a fresher to start from scratch and reach the zenith of his career and professionalism  through sheer “good performance”.But yes some inherent qualities are desirable.In all the industries that provide services to people, good communication skills,humbleness,excellent commmand over languages and “a desire to give the best”are prerequisites for being an efficient professional.

                           A person  with charming personality and a penchant for serving people with enthusiasm will do wonders for the organisation employed with and for the individual himself.But the paradox  is that people fail to understand  that with the right guidance and training,one can become proficient  and be as smart as the job profile is.The only thing required is a willingness to exceel.Anybody and everybody is cut out for these jobs.

Moreover, this  industry opens its doors for people with  average career record too which has  inturn got people from all walks of life abandoning their high-profile careers to gain a foothold in the service industry.A career here truly develops a person in terms of physical appearence, mental attitude and approach towards life.It is no longer a domain of women alone,men too are joining in droves.This speaks volumes about the prospects of the booming industry.

            One very crucial advantage is, people here start young and well before into the  middle age, they grab high positions which in any  other field or profession would come in old age.Hence this deliberate opting for a chance in service industry.Some other highs of working  in this field is fat pay package,travelling and interacting with people which leaves one with impeccable pleasant and enriching experiences. And in life, this is what one craves for.

              INDEED,IT PAYS TO BE IN THE SERVICE INDUSTRY.
