Dear Sir/Madam:
The purpose of this letter if to announce my resignation from __________________ effective on October 15, 2010.
I am very sorry for the trouble I caused you due to my negligence. It was a momentary lapse of judgment on my part and I regret doing so.
My experience working for the company is wonderful. I first came in the office clothed only with the knowledge I learned from my Alma Mater; but you never doubted my capacity and capability that I could fill the needs of this office. You have welcomed me with open arms. Despite my shortcomings as an employee, you have remained patient and supportive in building me professionally and personally. For these, I am forever grateful to you and to the company. I have always considered it an honor and privilege to be a part of the family.
Unfortunately, some good things come to its end. My ineffective and inefficient to the job pushed me to resigned. If I were asked, I don’t want to resign but I deemed it necessary. I don’t know how to gain your trust again and even how to forgive my self for what happened. Hence, I decided to resign. This was not an easy decision on my part.
Please allow me to settle my obligation amounting to ___________________ (Php 00) in installment basis. I promise to pay a minimum of ___________________ (Php 00) every 30th of the month starting on ___________________ until amount will be fully paid. Also, please allow me to just deposit it monthly in your account.
If you permit, I plan to go back to Butuan City this week to sort things out and to apply work as well. I would be glad to extend my assistance to facilitate the transition of the work to the next employee if needed.
Again, THANK YOU for everything. I hope you will find someday a place in your heart to forgive me.
Respectfully yours,
Baby8star
