A sad story that I responded to.
I feel that that what the boys did to Angela Shepard was wrong and I know why they did it, it was rotten of them to do it either way. Angela Shepard might be rotten but to get her drunk and cut her hair off like they did was over the top in terms o being rational and being rude that is just my opinion but the moral of the story is getting even is not always as fun as it might sound or seem because at the moment it seemed like a good thing until Byron got hospitalized by the oldest of the Shepard kids.
That is when Byron starts realizing that getting even is stupid even though it might seem very fun and worthy. Now that Byron has learned that it will only take on death to have the whole thing to become a real war with one another. Fortunately for Byron he realized the problem before it could fully develop into a war. As for Mark he does not realize at all that pay back is the definition of insanity. The definitions of insanity being that you try all the same things over and over expecting a different result. Mark is a special person in the story because his and Byron’s relationship they are so close and they don’t stay that way because in the end Byron ends up calling the cops on Mark for selling acid to his girlfriends little brother.
