I review the Artemis Fowl series, written by Eoin Colfer.

Next I will review the Eternity Code. With the technology Artemis steals from the fairies, he builds a super computer. In a demonstration to an American business man, he carelessly reads a fairy satellite. The business man tricks Artemis, and takes the C Cube, as Artemis calls it. Butler is fatally wounded and Artemis must figure out a way to save him. He relies on the help of Holly Short, the fairy he kid napped in the first book. After Butler is healed, Artemis asks the Fairies for help to retrieve the C Cube, under the condition that they wipe all memories of the Fairies, since him reading the satellite caused lock down in the Fairies’ world. Artemis and friends must retrieve the Cube from John Spiro, the business man, in Chicago. Artemis meets the greatest match he has met so far. He has to get the cube, or it’s all over for him, and the Fairies.

The next book I will review is the Opal Deception. The Goblins have started acting up again, but their plan is too sophisticated for Goblins. On a mission to capture and escaped Goblin, Holly meets her worst enemy, Opal Koboi. She kills Commander Root, and Holly is blamed. She then must save Artemis, the last command that Julius gave her. Artemis, after being wiped, has no remembrance of the Fairies. Holly manages to save him, but she must bring the Fairies back into Artemis’ knowledge. The only hope is Mulch Diggums, a Dwarf that holds the one thing that could brink Artemis’ memories back. Artemis must outsmart a genius Fairy, and this time with no help from the Fairies. Artemis meets his biggest match, and it is great to behold what happens.

The next book, and by far my favorite, is the Lost Colony. Artemis has been taking an interest to Demons, the lost colony of Fairies. They were taken out of time to save themselves from destruction. Artemis notices a girl, and she may be after the same thing as him. Meanwhile, on the island of Hybras, the demon island, a little imp named N°1 discovers his true self, a warlock. He travels back to the human world, were he is captured by the girl Artemis sees. He discovers her name is Minerva, and her goal is to be the youngest person ever to win a Nobel peace prize, and the demon is her ticket. Artemis must rescue the demon to prevent the discovery of the fairy world, and to save Hybras from total destruction. Artemis Fowl is for the first time, a person with wholly pure motives. It is a wonder to see what happens to Artemis in the land of demons. Also, N°1 is most peoples favorite character in the entire series.

The last book I will review is the Time Paradox. Artemis’ mother has been infected with a deadly fairy disease. The only thing that can help her is the brain fluid of a lemur that he helped become extinct five years ago. N°1 must help them go back in time to get the lemur, and cure his mother. He goes back in time and faces his most challenging foe yet, himself. But all is not what it seems, when the discover the mind behind the plan, Artemis and Holly’s biggest enemy. And to keep this person from domination, the must get the lemur before they do. This is a great book with many twists and turn that keep you reading, and a confusing logic that makes you think.

So this is my review of the Artemis Fowl series. After the seventh book comes out, I will edit this to include it in my review.
