Because it is the best place in chennai from where you can buy computer parts,peripherals,electronic and electrical devices etc. and also many other gadgets at a low price(very).(very) means for up to 200% lower than the M.R.P. Car to ?.I can state out the simplest examples form my own life when my father wanted to buy me a pen-drive of about 4-GB.We checked it out in one of the showrooms , a transcend pen-drive of 4-GB costed Rs.1299.The same pen-drive which we saw at the showroom was on sale in Ritchie street for Rs.499 and was also on bargain.We thought it would have no warranty,be a duplicate or some trick.But it was not.We bought one and it worked well and even better than i thought.So if you visit chennai,take this as a very nice tour and get into this street.But don’t let them fool you and never be rude to them.If you have seen America’s Black Friday , then Ritchie street has Black Friday’s all over the year.Just don’t miss it.Also , if you are a cinema geek,then there are loads of movie Cd costing from around Rs.30-40(less than a us$) per movie from the old to the latest ones.
