I am now laying on the lush green carpet of King’s Park, bathing in the Aussie sunshine. It’s unbelievably beautiful here. The view stretches for miles and disappear into the horizon. I swear I could see the curve of the earth if I concentrate hard enough. Here’s the view from the top of King’s Park…
I am now laying on the lush green carpet of King’s Park, bathing in the Aussie sunshine. It’s unbelievably beautiful here. The view stretches for miles and disappear into the horizon. I swear I could see the curve of the earth if I concentrate hard enough. Here’s the view from the top of King’s Park.There’s a sporting vibe in this place. You don’t need any exercise or keep fit campaign to get people running and playing sports. Instead a campaign to stop people from over exercising would be more appropriate.
It’s the culture and environment that the people live in. Australians have a balance between life and work. They drop everything at 5pm and knock off work to go fishing or run in the park. Most of the retail shop here don’t open past 5pm.
So since I am in Perth, I too got infected by this culture. Straight after work, I went for a jog to King’s Park. King’s Park is situated at one of the highest point in Perth City, From King’s Park, I can see the whole of Perth City and the yachts bobbling along Swan River.
People like to lay down on the grass in down under. Something which I would have never given a thought to in Singapore. The manicure grass is so pristine and soft that I have totally no inhibition to laying down. I stopped my run and lied sprawled across the grass patch. My mind totally at peace and not a worry in the world. This is life.
