Robin Van Persie.
At the start of the season I declared that Robin Van Persie would be leading goal scorer if he stays fit for the entire season. How wrong I was. Robin Van Persie have hit scoring form recently and if he continue this form he could very well be the leading goal scorer come the end of the season. Barring injury, there is no doubt that the Dutch man will reach twenty goals for the season. With the amount of chances that the Gunners produce it will only be a matter of time before he surpass Manchester United’s Dmitir Berbatov who seems to have gone cold in recent matches. This may be as a result of the ‘resurgence’ of Wanye Rooney and their manager preferring Rooney to the Bulgarian.
On another matter, Manchester City clearly doesn’t deserve to win the EPL. They parked their bus against United and Arsenal and would have done the same on Satuday if the bus was not hijacked by some Somalian pirates.
Chelsea and Spurs will win the battle for fourth with the Citizens and Liverpool close behind. Liverpool was unfortunate not to win at the weekend, they were cheated out of a victory via a poor call from the assistance referee. The player was more than a yard offside when he scored the equalizer on Satuday.
