This was a great person I came across in my life time.

I was going to school in my 10th grade year at  the time it was out of my normal school district. I believe we were in about the second semester of school when Layla Ali joined the school as well. Through meeting her she said that she was also out of her normal school district too.

We had quite a few things in common. I was in the school because i had moved with my dad because ,my mother felt he could make sure I got to class and stayed there. Which she was right. Layla was there so she could get ahead and graduate successfully. We had a typing class together & would have small chats from time to time. We loved to play softball when it was p.e time. At the school we went to we were not required to change clothes so we even if wearing a dress would still participate in the softball games.

We both  were the only two red- bone females  that would get hit on by all the guys in the school . We both  had a few tattoos which would also be a reason for the guys to strike up conversations with. She told the other students who her dad was. The famous Muhammad Ali who  was a great  championship boxer .  Some didn’t believe her . I did she told us that Ashley that was working on the television show “Fresh prince of  Bel-air ” was her little sister as well. I didn’t think that she had a reason to lie. She was tall like her father & obviously liked the boxing sport as well. I found out after we had graduated that she was boxing & opened up her own nail salon. I’m very proud of her accomplishments. Then becoming a mother getting married too. She was a nice person to me.

Maybe one day we will sit down and chat again.
