An essay on the location of DuLoc and how it causes demise to the evil Lord Farquaad.
As surveyed so far, Lord Farquaad’s troubles and difficulties have only been raised while he is within DuLoc itself. This provides a huge significance to the setting of DuLoc and how it creates the happy ending for this fairytale. The Magic Mirror mentioning that Lord Farquaad is not a king and the tournament and compromise about the fairytale creatures and Princess Fiona between Shrek and Lord Farquaad both occur inside DuLoc. Even the protection and comfort Lord Farquaad receives from his guards are because of his rule over DuLoc. Lord Farquaad uses his power for the benefit of himself and himself only making DuLoc the prime target for his misery. On the contrary, Lord Farquaad has already ruled a perfect kingdom and ruins it himself because of his own mistakes making him an imperfect king for a so called “perfect” kingdom.
