Many people think smoking is bad. Is it really?

Hello! My name is Ryker and I am a proud smoker. I smoke everyday to relieve stress. Many people think smoking is really bad for you, but they’ve never tried it. I haven’t died from it and most likely i’ll have a better chance from dieing in a car accident. I feel there are some good benefits to smoking that most people overlook. Some would include:

  • Relieved stress
  • Smoking decreases appetite
  • Risk of ulcerative colitis is reduced in smokers.

I love to smoke because the stress from work and kids builds up and it’s like tobacco makes it all go away. Some may say you wouldn’t feel that stress if you didn’t start smoking, but the stress is still there. I like to see cigarettes as a more of aspirin, or a drug that takes the stress and replaces it with a more of careless feeling. The best time of the day is to get home from work, sit down on the couch and light me up a cigarette.

So i’d like some feedback. I do know of the risks, but if i’m going to die, i’d rather die happy. It’s like how the old saying goes.

I would rather live 1 day like a lion than 1000 years like a sheep.
