Social issues in Coraline.

Number 1

The fact the adults in the book don’t actually talk to Coraline but at her. Complaining about what’s wrong with their lives. When dose get to talk to them they seem distant just continue complaining  pg 1

Number 2

Coralines parents don’t seem to care whenever she asks for some time together they dismiss her and say their ‘working’ but the thing is they are constantly working and it’s not healthy to be working every single day. No wonder Coraline chose the other mother at the start because of her parents. Pg 16

Number 3

the adults in the book keep saying Coralines name wrong and she is not very happy that’s why she is gets angry because of this. Pg 12

Number 4

The other mother uses Coraline and other children to keep the world alive. She is not the ‘loving’ mother she claims to be and is cruel.  pg105
