My dearest brothers and sisters in the Spirit: I hear us in our daily duties scoffing one another. We gossip, lie, slander, defame and talk with contempt about our brothers and sisters. We get angry and have no patience for one another. Is this how we are to be? Are we better than they whom we hurt with our words and actions? So is it that we ourselves make no mistakes, and always are righteous…I think not! How, then, can we talk in hate words about others if we are not perfect ourselves? Is there any profit in castigating another for their follies, their nature? For any does it help to pile vituperations onto their life? Why then do we do this? Let us not speak evil of one another, but keep our mouths closed when we feel anger toward them. Keep to our own counsel and pray to have the anger lifted from our soul that is eternal. Is in not better to help to correct your brother and sister’s ways so that their house may be full of good and profitable. Make way for them to speak evil of you, but do not do so to them. We do this out of love for them and their household. We are to be willing to take evil, but never give it.

Evil has no power over you if you do not send it on. With the Spirit we can absorb all things. Evil will have no power if we give it none. There is no profit in doing evil; not one bit. It is no sacrifice to be constructive in all things and keep ourselves bidding good tidings. Love those who anger you, care for those who hate and curse you. Seek no enemies to do evil to, but find love in all things in order that love may the blessing of one and all, for all. Graduate yourselves to the highest of levels of love for each other. Do not hesitate to love no matter the circumstances or who is involved or what you may gain. We do not show love only to those who do us good, but also to those who do evil. Love one and all in the Spirit and show yourselves to be the first one to love all. Let the Spirit reward you. The Spirit of love can endure all things, at all times. So then, let the Spirit dwell within yourselves and be strong in the Spirit of love. Do good today to all you meet, and love in all situations. Your reward will be eternal…
