Let’s all think for once, shall we? The world (our country, specifically) is in bad shape right now.  Things are in the gutter and just about everyone is feeling the impact.  Let’s just be aware, however, that it’s “bad times” all over the spectrum. 

Let’s realize that we all have problems and stress.

Let’s understand that we really are all connected and are pieces of a giant whole.

Let’s be kind to one another and respectful.

Let’s understand that we are all trying our best and making do with what we have.

Let’s remember that we’re all struggling and we shouldn’t take our stresses out on others.

We all have bad days and

let’s remember that it’s tough on all of us.

If someone cuts you off while driving, for example, let’s consider that maybe, just maybe, it’s an accident.

Let’s put the middle finger down and keep our hands off the horn.

If we’re entering or exiting a building, let’s notice if there’s someone else doing the same and let’s hold the door open.

Let’s put loose change we don’t need in a parking meter.

Let’s call our loved ones, not only when we need something, but just to say “hello” and “I love you” and “I’m here if you need me”.  Text messages you send to multiple recipents are NOT the same. 

Let’s remember birthdays and anniversaries.

Let’s smile at strangers because it’s contagious and it really does make you feel better.

Let’s check the attitude even when other people patronize you, because, like I said, their day might’ve been hell.  Sure they shouldn’t take it out on you but responding with anger will only make the situation worse.

Let’s try and be kind to each other, for karma is real and it’s a bitch.

You WILL reap what you sow, so sow roses!

Love one another and only good things will come to you. 

Remember when people do nice things for you, be APPRECIATIVE and pay it forward.  There’s nothing wrong with spreading the love around!
