The tornado that blew through St. Louis’ Lambert airport on Friday may have caused significant damage to the historic airport, but no deaths were reported amazingly. Now the devastated airport is picking up the pieces and hopes to be back to full functionality by Tuesday.

Already the airport is back to 85% operations, the St. Louis Dispatch reports.

Roughly 200 of the airports 250 scheduled flights were meant to depart on Monday, the airport’s director, Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge, said at a news conference.

Airport workers repaired roof leaks, collected debris and boarded up shattered windows around the building.

KSDK TV of St. Louis reported that “passengers who were at the airport on Monday morning said they were amazed by how much of the damage had been cleaned-up and repaired. … Boards are covering most of the doors and windows. Airport Director Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge said it could be while before those are repaired.”

The station reports that “Terminal 1, Terminal 2, Concourses A and B are fully operational. Concourse C remains closed because of extensive damage.”

Airport workers worked to get American Airlines and Cape Air moved from Concourse C. As of Monday, only flights on Cape Air, a regional carrier, were canceled.
