One has got to admit that just about every politician has to be able to act like a star in Hollywood. During elections they have to be calm on stage while giving speeches so all the voters can be convinced they are the best one to select.

This was sharply exampled through President Reagan. He had been an actor in Hollywood during World War Two. It might have been a political choice of his to take the first President Bush as a running mate.

That first Vice President had served our country in World War Two just like President Kennedy. Who can tell if being a veteran like that was important enough politically to make President Reagan choose who he did.

That acting training enabled President Reagan to convince America they needed to get stronger in order to end the Cold War with Russia. That was a hard political position to take in 1980 because many of the voters were still feeling the Vietnam War.

The former hippies just wanted the troops to be hardly supplied. They thought tax money was meant for things like equal rights not to fight any war against Communism. President Reagan was able to use his California acting background in 1980 when the Presidential election was held.

It should be pointed out that every politician is trying to convince you of something. He or she has to have enough stage talent to succeed or they wouldn’t even get any political donations. All the voters in America should understand this and start voting the same way they pick out which movie to watch.
