Stance about reading

I’ve always liked nocturnal reading for it provides the kind of relaxation required to admire and appreciate what books contain. within their pages. That calm is in itself a prerequisite to be a successful reader .I can’t imagine someone reading and wishing to internalize what he’s reading amidst turmoil and noise. So, eek the appropriate environment to hold your book and start getting into the private world of the writer. Surely, you could visit his world and infiltrate into his mind without any prior warning or licence. This is one of the opportunities that books allow us to take advantage of. Just pick the right book that goes with your needs and aspirations, for reading a book that is beyond your imagination or that exceeds your expectations would only intensify your boredom and worsen your peace of mind.

The closest analogy is that of watching a movie you don’t like. A bad movie would throw you back in rage. A good one would leave mouth wide in laughter or eyes swollen in emotions.
