Food for thought.
As I watched Dick Clark on one of my all time favorite game shows, Dick Clark made a comment regarding the word abandon. The poem below refers to that comment.
So sorry you don’t even want it to be a thought you are thinking for it is so stinking ugly it grabs you all up in your upper chest like a mighty ferocious man chokes you and as you quickly gasp for a brief but fleeting breath, you can’t help but think of that stinking ugly thought you didn’t want to ever enter your caught thinking mind in the win, place or show first place ;however, it won’t ever in your lifetime leave you alone as it continues to torture you with no foreseen mercy ,so you grind your teeth until you chip at least one tooth from the bite down and twist your mouth into the number eight when a brutal sense of dark despair is your final finalized thought while all brilliant endless color leaves your mind of gloom to fade into the black blackness of black so far off in thought you can’t imagine thinking it all in the win, place or show first place as you suddenly find yourself bench searching while knee bent praying for the one answer as the stinking ugly thought finally begins fading forever into the black blackness of black still asking the not asked question as you wonder in the deepest of thought that is so sorry you don’t even want it to be a thought you are thinking for it is so stinking ugly you don’t want it in your thoughts in any kind of way any how.
ABANDON.
