A story starter for writers who cannot find their own beginning.
“My ideas on the matter consist of more than just a one sided argument, my ideas could well influence the opposition to vote with us, getting what we want and getting, sorta, partly what they want”.
“Mr rewatab, you have to understand… This isn’t necessarily about pleasing the other party, its more about getting what we want, exactly what we want. We’re in power, we can at least try to not bargain with opposition until the next election!”.
“I understand Mr Hasbreg, I understand what you are trying to say, but i do believe that if we bargain at this point in time, we are more likely to get not only the support from our parties followers, but we will inherit the support of the oppositions party. Letting us not only do what we have to do, but giving us and increased chance at winning the election. Mr Hasbreg, its a win/win situation for us in both cases!”.
“You really don’t talk like a 9 year old, do you?”.
“With all due respect sir, I do ask that you not degrade me by lowering my age to a level that is not near intelligent enough to be a politician. I don’t talk like a 9 year old, because I’m not a 9 year old!”. ” I know call this meeting of ours over, its time for you, Mr Hasbreg, to leave”.
“I see, you cant talk criticism. Whats a politician without that quality? Should have never done business with you anyway”.
“Get out!”.
Please note: This is a scenario for readers to build upon, making their own stories with this as their beginning.
