The South African Government has had it the past few weeks with teachers, police, medical personnel and petrol attendants striking for a salary increase. The government just do not want to give in to the strikers the unions demand a larger increase in percentage but the government just do not want to budge they state that there are not enough funds to do that. Well lets see if the ministers salaries get reduced by just 1% there will be more than enough money said a teacher in my home town. As a teacher myself I agree yes pay us what we are worth now the students are suffering for a government that does not want to budge. And the worst of all is that the parents still need to pay the school fees even if the children do not attend classes. How will a government explain to millions of children that they failed because they where to greedy?
