There are many places I could travel to in my time machine. But the places I go to are not just for exploring places that have collapsed hundreds of years ago, but for bettering my life and my society. I could prevent devastating events in history, such as the Pearl Harbor Incident. 188 U.S. aircraft were destroyed, 2,402 personnel were killed and 1,282 were wounded. Another event I could prevent was the terrorist attack on the twin towers. But that’s not the only thing I going to do with the time machine. I would use it to better my life by changing events that changed my life in the past.

                       The pearl harbor attack was one of the most devastating attacks in history. It killed more than 3,000 people during it’s attack. In order to minimize the casualties, I would travel to Pearl harbor and warn the U.S. Navy of the upcoming attack. Then the navy would be prepared for the attack and there would be less casualties. Another devastating event was the tornado in NY. It destroyed the whole neighborhood’s forestry and even an old lady was killed. The event was not known until the tornado actually struck. I would go to my time machine and travel to two days before the hurricane struck. Then every one will evacuate the area and there hopefully won’t be any casualties.

                       In order to better my life, I would go back in time and prevent events that would change my life. One thing I would do is to prevent myself form falling onto a gutter and skinning my knee. Once I prevented that, I wouldn’t have that scar that’s on my knee today. Another thing I would do is to travel back into time and leave a copy of the essay 

         requirements for forth grade, so I would have gotten a better grade. Another thing I would do for bettering my life was to leave a note to my other self stating  my student idea so my other self didn’t have to go to school and embarrass himself for asking for his student id.

                        There are many places I could travel to in my time machine. But my main reasons are for b bettering my life for my own good and by helping my society. I could prevent devastating events in history, such as the Pearl Harbor Incident. Another thing I could do is warning authorities of the terrorist attack on the twin towers. That way I could save lives and stop all flights so the terrorists can’t launch their operation. There are many other things I could do to better other society and my life, but these are the main objectives I’m waiting to finish.
