Do stuffed animals have souls? I saw this headline online yesterday. You bet they do. I bet my old Mike the Tiger has a soul. The poor old boy is over 50 years old right now. My Dad bought him for me before I was born. He’s been a great companion over the years. Not just to me, but my nieces and nephews also. They have used old Mike to help them sleep, recover from hurts and such and in general just used him because he is a good old boy. My niece has him right now, but we are getting into a quandary. She is 18 and will begin college in the fall. I guess Mike might be going to college.

I know was there for me often. I used him to help me get through some spankings and hurts when I was very young. I can also remember hugging him when I was in college when a young lady broke my heart. He has done that same wonderful job for everyone he has come in contact with.

So I don’t think my old boy has a “soul” so to speak. I think he is the combination of several souls. And that makes him a good old boy in my book.
