We’ve all done it! Opened up the child seat on the supermarket shopping cart and placed our groceries on the plastic flip down seat.

Often, this handy little spot becomes the preferred place for our eggs, bread or similar fragile grocery items; a place safe from the crushing power of a two litre cola bottle.

Unfortunately, that handy little “shelf” has also been the preferred spot for countless child derrieres, untold numbers of soiled diapers, puke and half gnawed treats. How often are these shopping carts cleaned & sanitized? Sadly, I think I can guess….
