Ten very humorous reasons why I can’t stand having a cold.

Colds are nasty but all too common. It’s hard to survive a winter without having at least one cold. Here are ten reasons why I hate having a cold:

  1. I enjoy eating stuffing. I hate feeling all stuffed up.
  2. I like to run and jog. I do not like to have a runny nose.
  3. It’s not fun to sneeze your head off
  4. You can never find a Kleenex when you really need one
  5. I’d rather be a sore loser than have a sore throat
  6. I enjoy coffee. I do not like coughing.
  7. Congestion is a word that I would prefer be left out in the dictionary
  8. Kissing is off limits. Hugging is to be avoided. Blowing a kiss your way just doesn’t cut it.
  9. I can’t stand taking medicine. It usually doesn’t work. It tastes bad. It makes you feel groggy.
  10. Food doesn’t taste as good. Food doesn’t smell as good. Food doesn’t look as good. So you end up eating little and drinking a lot. This causes you to have to run to the bathroom. Of course when you get there, you usually run out of toilet tissue. In addition, the hot water conveniently stops working. You can’t find a clean bath towel either. You might as well go to bed. You need to rest so that you can wake up in the morning feeling miserable and lousy.

If it doesn’t kill you, it goes away. So what’s the problem?
