Military veterans.

Thank a vet, simple and true. Without the brave men and women serving in our branches of military we may not have the little things most of us take for granted everyday. So along your travels if you came upon a member of the Army, Air Force, Navy or Marines take just a second to stop and say thank you for their service to our beautiful country.

For those that have served or are currently serving I thank you.

Hi, you’re right, we should thank them, they put their lives on the line for us and some people just disrespect them cos of their age.

In the UK we have a day set for our Veterans it’s called ‘Remembrance Day’ or ‘Poppy Day’ (cos we all wear fake poppy\’s) on the 11th November.

I think that we should also make this day a remembrance day for all those who have died in the Iran, Afghanistan, Iraq war that’s happening at the moment too.

On this site where I’m doing some freelance work, we’ve going to try to set up a group for the war veterans so that members can say their thanks to the veterans and troops who have put their lives on the line to help make s a better future. The site is http://www.thanksto.com so please visit if you have a spare moment, or you could even leave this message on the site for our troops! That would be great.

I do every chance I get, I have seen some very interesting reactions to it.
