Dear Mr. Chatroulette Piano Ben Folds-lookalike Guy:

I have creepily searched for you for the past few hours on Chatroulette, hoping to get an interview for this article. Maybe you and I could have had some fun: you, playing piano, me, watching… great times for all indeed.

But the real reason I write this letter is to thank you.

All we ever hear about on the news is the “lewd and terrible acts” that happen on the now world famous website Chatroulette. I use the term “world famous” because since my parents have heard about it, and it’s on the internet, it must be huge. To prove the preceding statement; I just taught my dad how to use Gmail last week. Before then, he had never heard of it and was astounded (quote: wow, Google’s really doing some cool new thingies on here, aren’t they?).

Thanks for not showing your penis to me as I scour various bedrooms, libraries, and coffeeshops of the world, searching for new and interesting people to meet and talk to.

Thanks for proving that you’re a nice guy, by not creeping on the girls. You were chivalrous and asked for a request. That was awesome.

Thanks for understand the real purpose of Chatroulette: To get entertained by others when you’re bored, and to entertain others when they are bored.

Thanks for showing off your skill. I’ve played piano for 7 years now, and I’m still nowhere near that level. Nice improv of Fireflies.
