Often when confronted with a situation, there’s the truth you don’t want to see and accept, the truth you blind yourself from.

You’re blinding yourself to the truth.

Not because you can’t see.

You don’t want to.

You’re delaying the closure,

because you’re scared.

Scared of bringing it to an end.

You’re scared of letting go,

not because you can’t,

but because you still don’t want to.

No matter what you said and done,

you still love him,

you miss him terribly,

and you want him back so much.

You know you shouldn’t,

but you can’t get him out of your head.

You still can’t believe it happened.

You still can’t accept that this happened.

You are just not ready.

You push yourself to move on.

You deny yourself the emotions.

But in the end,

your heart just doesn’t want to say goodbye.

    Hi amilia,
Broken hearts never let you think clearly, but time does heal a broken heart. Very nice.

sad story but who knows you may end up happy if only you can forget the past and move on.

It says some hard truth here! Such is human nature, we always fear change for some reason, yet change could open to us new opportunities!
