I am sure that in times of deep crisis many of you have considered thoughts of “give”. What is the cost of your entertaining such thoughts? As a client with a progressively deteriorating illness I was working with said: “It’s like having one foot out the back door.”

So what does it mean “having one foot out the back door”?

Well, it means “you” are not your entire body!

But if “YOU” are the life giving force or energy that your body, by necessity, required to sustain a healthy and functional status (eg how a plant needs of the life giving energy Sun to support it) what do you think will happen to your body if you’re not fully in it?

Well a plant eventually dies without the sun. Similarly your body will die without you!

So when you’re not “fully” in your body?

Well, when you for example:

1) Entertain abandon

2) If you dislike your body or yourself, for whatever reason, and

3) When you choose to harbor toxic things in bio-and therefore your body.

Where are you left when your body is not fully functional and healthy? Well in a state of crisis. In fact, I’d say “all” crises in your life are the result of you are not completely in your body all the time.

In other words, by choosing “life” ie to be in your body, you’re likely to face any crisis. That’s because by choosing to be fully integrated into your body still, your body will experience strength and resilience that you’ve probably never known before.

So where do you have your two feet?
