THE DREAM OF THE KING
Inspired by Daniel 2: Nebuchadnezzar’s Dream

The king of Babylon had a dream
That a giant statue appeared before him
Its head was gold,
Its chest and arms were silver
Its belly and thighs were bronze
Its legs were iron
Its feet were partly of iron, and partly of clay

Then, all of a sudden
A stone came from nowhere
It broke the statue, and filled the whole earth!

The king of Babylon wanted to know
The meaning of his dream
So, Daniel told it to him

The head of gold is the kingdom of Babylon
The chest and arms of silver is a kingdom that
Will come after
And so is the belly and thigh of bronze
The legs of iron is a mighty kingdom
That will exist till the end
In the final days of its kings, God will establish His kingdom
That will never end
