PROLOGUE

    At fist, I didn’t realize what was going on, what I was. Time and experience brought that realization on with the full impact.
    See, for a while I thought they were just dreams; pulling me into a strange world, and yet it coupled with a native familiarity. I concluded that it was conjured up purely by my own imagination, and possibly one-too-many a fantasy novel. Then, as time progressed and I paid more attention to these dreams, I began to recognize patterns and similarities, things began to look familiar. I began to see, though not fully accept, the unfolding of the Dreamer’s Portal.
    I don’t know how really, or why, but when we sleep, our minds unconsciously enter a state of reality, or realm. This realm is tagged as the Dreamer’s Portal. It’s a place, or rather, a state in…a being, really; it’s difficult to describe. It is the universal birth place of each and every mind, to be general. We all, everyone, started on, or in, the Dreamer’s Portal. Our minds developed there, picking up characteristics, personality traits, along with rudimentary likes, dislikes, and opinions. Our minds grew here, they were pre-developed in this state. Then we become conscious and are swept out as we breathe our first few breaths of air.
    We can only return in our dreams, simply because only our minds may enter. The realm, the Dreamer’s Portal, only accepts the purest form of ourselves, our true selves, a more developed form of what it sent us out as. Must recognize us as ourselves, and our growth. Those who have been contaminated by the world’s society, fashion, and limits are not welcome.
    That pure form is only found in the mind. It lurks in the darkest crevasses, hiding in the shadows behind the day-to-day thoughts, inquiries, and emotions. Nonetheless, it is there; and the realization of that is one of the keys to re-entering our native world. We must realize who we are. Once you find that the dreams will start.

Only a select few can re-enter the Dreamer’s Portal, and only for specific callings to. If you find yourself wandering around in a world that parallels your won in ways that it should be perpendicular, then you’ve successfully awoken within the Dreamer’s Portal, and you’d better believe there’s a reason behind it. I would then advise you you to fall back asleep, as that is the only way to exit the Dreamer’s Portal. Fall asleep, knock yourself out if you have to, but leave the Portal. Or else you’d better be braced for the biggest epidemic of you life…I know I wasn’t.
