A Vatican Commission.

Life is a mystery.  We do not know, completely what the future means.  Education is our strongest effort to provide for our future.  Our children are educated wave upon wave in our best attempt to provide for the future.  We all participate in the effort to educate our young and the parents, government, soldiers, professionals, teachers that educate themselves at the same time are leaders in our community.

Our goal is all this study is to unlock the mysteries that make life so unexplainable.  Who is Mohammed?  Why is the Kremlin so ruby red?, What is the French Connection?, How does Morris West come up with his plots?  What did Joseph’s robe look like?

My father taught me the syllogism, which is the answer in logic to our understanding of a mystery.  There is a plus (+) that is to be placed between two things like or unlike that demonstrate they are the same thing.  The challenge is understanding all those mysteries is to draw from your experience and what you have learned from life and assert the likeness that answers the mystery with courage.  In other words we are working together to unlock the mystery of life for our future happiness and we can take one another as an authority that answers our questions definitively.  Thus we have a new understanding where before we had two things with not connection or likeness to one another.

A vatican commission is given to someone that can make those kind of connections with grace that converts the unbeliever to the presence of God, Christ indeed, in the world.  A vatican commission, like a contract to paint a portrait, is a quintessential means of providing for the future.  A Poet Laureat could not do better.  A man or a woman is assigned to a mystery that the civilizations must undertake to solve. It is a life’s work.  Some men and women, like John Denver or Frank Sinatra have undertaken the mission of makeing incredibly beautiful sense out of confusion and only await the recognition of the vatican.

I think this is why we choose God Parents for our children in celebrating the Sacrement of Baptism.  God must take a hand in guiding us through life and its mysteries.

My husband Bob, is a tidewater mark for me.  He is the head of our home with regal constancy.  Our like search  for wisdom is assured by our love and respect for one another.  Like a tidewater mark Bob allows me to know that God was there.  God is greater than the mighty ocean but its changing patterns are like the life of Christ in our midst.  We must continually learn from Hime being there in the midst of us.  Bob helps me do this.  Life is now less of a mystery.
