Things are going downhill and will continue to do so.

Ok, so here is the way things will go…

1.Gas prices will still go up

2.People won’t be able to afford to go to work and will loose their jobs.

3.People will continue to loose their homes.

4. People will be homeless and live in the streets.

5.?

Anyone want to finish this puzzle? Does anyone have a clue why this is happening? Everything started turning down the toilet when the American Steel industry all went overseas. That was the beginning. People keep coming over here to America looking for work but since very little is made over here anymore, there aren’t any jobs. Something has to change and I have thought of everything that I can but to no avail.

Oh wait. There is an option! We could always start making things over here again so we would have enough jobs. But I rather doubt that would ever happen.

Good article, too bad about the finances in the toilet, but a well written article about it.

IMHO – the jobs went overseas because of our standard of living. As Americans (and Canadians, that’s where I’m from) prospered, our wages kept going up, labour unions made sure that employees had benefits, so companies that made stuff had to automate or build their factories in other countries with cheaper labour. Our own greed in wanting more stuff for cheaper prices, and buying stuff made overseas because it was cheaper has come back to bite us in the butt. That’s just my opinion.

Shawna Y. that’s one of the main reasons that we live in an rv park. No taxes no utility bills (at least not on the lot we rent), free wi-fi, free fishing. It’s the only way that we can live anymore.

I hope for all our sakes it does not get this bad. lol. But yes I can see the problems starting but i think theres those problems wherever you go. Hopefully things will turn around for us all. The worlds recession has caused many problems for everyone but it has suffered one before and it improved. I hope it does anyway as my house in the Uk is still on the market after 3 years. We have been in Canada over 2 years now and still dont have our own home.
