A Child,
The picture shines within your mind
Of joys, of plays, of days that wouldn’t wait
When times of pain from minor accidents occurred,
You heard, “Lets ask the Lord to make it better”, you didn’t know
That you learned a lesson from all these.

Growing,
Physically, mentally, spiritually
Growth at different rates on different dates of time.
Remember? Thought you knew it all except for
Sometimes. Good for you they read God’s Word, you felt
That you learned a lesson from all these.

Testing,
Sometimes life’s demand are hard to understand
Your heart began to fill with questions great and small
Then someone said, “Let’s pray.”
The God you thought was far away wasn’t you knew
That you learned a lesson from all these.

And Now,
The present role you play, the goal you’ve set,
Came from yesterday, you prayed,
“Dear Lord provide, and lead, and guide “
And just as you knew he would, he did
And you have learned a lesson from all of these.
