Could We Gain So Much Out of A Few Chances?

Everyone of us must be clinging to life thinking of something better to arrive. Unfortunately, many of our forefathers ended their lives doing just that. So what chances are there for each of us to make some difference to the concept by doing just the same? Think about a bread without the filling, it’s just bread. That’s what we are. On the other hand, imagine a hamburger with all the stuffing. It is plain and simple that we live today and die afterwards but it is only in between that we have the choice what to make of it. Imagine the filling one could get in hitting the jackpot or just the prize next to it. I may be so material oriented by having this idea, I accept that. Who likes plain bread, anyone? I suppose we all like hamburgers especially the Big Mac.

That is very well said, once again! Bravo Will. There would be so much to say…winning the lottery would prevent us from working hard! (lol).

Good one. A few years back, just as I was beginning to feel lucky, our state lottery added six numbers to the Lotto, thus increasing the odds beyond my lucky feeling.

A person can’t win if they don’t play. It is a gamble. Please tell me if you win big. I have never known a bid winner. Neat thoughts put here for reading.

Sounds like an interesting lottery system. You have to be in it to win it.

  • lillyrose on Nov 19, 2009

I have played a few times but I always end up feeling very disappointed!

With the odds being what they are, I gave up playing years ago. You have to kind of have “money to burn” to keep playing week after week.

Great job! I play the lottery a lot. I just won the pick 4 and got $154. I have never won that much before.

It depends on your luck to get a big win. Afterall, it’s a gambling, you lose more than you win.

  • Brenda Nelson on Nov 19, 2009

You will win!! I know this because my husband and I play the Canadian lottery, and I also know we will win!

I enjoyed this piece so much. I do the Saturday lottery with a friend and we had five numbers up one week and won what to us at that time seemed a fortune. It certainly paid for all the lottery money we had paid out. I am sure your turn will come.
