Here is where I, a young American in the midst of modern chaos and turmoil, voice my thoughts about the present world situation from a conservative Christian viewpoint, because you surely won’t find that view on the news these days. Lend me your ears, America, if just for a minute of your busy time.
A small band of unlikely heroes, the citizens of Crimora, a small town in Virginia, stand today to restore freedom and justice to America, which is slowly but surely being eroded by the secular liberals such as the one elected to the office of president in 2008. When the government begins to take away the very values this country was built upon, that, my friends, is the time to take a stand. A country, like a building, cannot stand without a foundation. The foundation that America was built upon was the strong moral Christian values of such men as George Washington, Patrick Henry, James Madison, Thomas Jefferson, and the countless other patriots that founded this nation. They must be rolling in their graves these days, looking at what their country is becoming. Please, help them out.
How can you help, you ask? What on Earth am I talking about, you ask? Well, my friends, read on to discover the raw truth.
The United States of America became an independent nation in 1776, led by a group of men that truly believed in the values of freedom, justice, and liberty. Where did they hear about these values? In the Bible. The words of God. Not the words of Montesquieu, not the words of Locke, not the words of Rousseau. The ideas of these Enlightenment thinkers only helped to further the seeking of the three values I mentioned, freedom, justice, and liberty.
You may say, well fine, but a group of Jews or Muslims or Hindus or Buddhists could have done the same thing. To that I say, ha! Show me proof of one time in history when they created a nation that became what America became. A beacon of liberty to the poor huddled masses thousands of miles away. A symbol of freedom to the oppressed people under a tyrannical ruler with no way out. The enforcer of the law for ALL people, worldwide, the carrier out of justice. No one else has ever done that, now have they? Sure, other nations of the past may have achieved more military victories, more conquest, more territory, but all such empires crumbled into the dust because of a certain key failure. In many cases, it was the people themselves who brought the government down. Why? Because that is the people’s duty, to restore freedom, justice, and liberty when it has been taken away from them. No government on Earth has ever stood permanently, and no government on Earth has ever stood its entire length in line with those three values. There is always a fall somewhere.
