Now, I am not much of a science whiz and not to mention this is my first post on Triond. However I recently learned some quite interesting facts about the ozone, I’m no humanitarian but i do my part in recycling etc. yet, this one fact seemed to strike me and get me thinking, and this is that the chemicals sprayed, the different types of pollution released into the atmosphere and such that hurt the ozone will not actually reach it for about 10-15 years. so if people think what we are experiencing now is bad the jump from the 90s to the 21st century was a big one, therefore i believe there will be a drastic increase in ozone depletion in the next 5-10 years and so on so do what you can to help the environment at least in this aspect of it because the rate of skin cancer is already way up.
