The Past ,Present and the Future is tale of a family that comes to a tragic end because of changing cultural values.

Dheer’s wife placed the cup of tea on the hedge of the veranda and said. Please! Calm your self and listen to the facts. Is this the first time when he has behaved like this. Can you recall those other instances when he behaved the way he should have not? I do not hold him alone responsible for this development but it was your mother and all our relatives from both sides who never lost an occasion/opportunity to incite him of his being an aggressor and not a part of the family? His cynicism was from all those who were envious of his comforts and being the only one to enjoy the benefits of living with the provisions that they were deprived off. Therefore, in order to prove his personal worth he acted the way he has done?

You know it & as well I do! Whenever I questioned him about his activities, said Dheer, he always denied me the privilege of knowing any details as a concerned father and son relation ship demanded.

He always maintained a distance from me, so much so that he preferred to stay with his friends and share with them his sources of income that he never brought home.

I am now feeling that he did not ever accept me as father and you as his mother. All the time He was planning a life away from both of us and only looking forward to an opportunity to strike. Although all along this while (may be 15 long years) I knew he was up to some of his own game plans, but what has ruffled  me is the way he has implemented his plans. May be my own handling is to blame for his reaction leading to all this chaos?

Do you recall the time when he spoke to me over telephone and said that he wanted to send his family over to us and that could I arrange for the admission of his son and daughter. I was actually disturbed over the way he went on addressing as his family and his children during his telephonic conversation as if they were not related to us? He also asked me to forget the past and advise you too to forget all that happened between two of you. I readily yielded. No questions asked.
