The Stone Henge

Stone henge indicates the astronomical movement of the earth in relation to the sun. We always knew that the earth physically revolves around the sun and so a variety of positions of the sun were recorded by means of vertical pillars of stone. Christianity later on for unknown reasons kept science under wraps, for about two thousand years after Julius Caesar. More about all this later in a different chapter But Rome was not built in a day nor was the Taj Mahal. So the carriage of heavy stones and by human labour is of no consequence. 

Manpower, horse power and elephant power, were most powerful tools and weapons. Since time was available in abundance and there was no other means of recreation to keep men as a labour class fully occupied, manpower was freely utilized in carting stones overlong distances for constructing the stone henge. This should not be as alarming as it was still being done just over three hundreds or so away, when the Taj Mahal was being built. Such cartage of heavy stones by human and animal power should not be so alarming.

If only we take our minds back to early civilisation, we will realise that upon the knowledge of those ancient people, we have reached this day and are now in a position to explore into space, many billion of light years away.
