Colors are powerful and influence our lives, they are everywhere.

Colors are around us, they can produce changes in our behavior. Sometimes depending of our mood we dress up. With bright colors if you have a high mood or dark colors if you are feeling low. Color have a big influence in our life.

In the part one of these article we review colors like: yellow, blue, green, red and white.

The colors of part two are: black, pink, purple and brown.

Black

Black is not a color is the absence of colors, in some cultures black symbolizes death, in other cultures it symbolize elegance like black tie dinner or for women should always have a black dress. Black make us think about weight loss is you want to disguise some extra weight you should wear black. Black is related to hidden, fearful, misterious or bad experience, linked to the unknown or unseen. In the positive way black is related with a restful emptiness into which anything could emerge or disappear again.

When you speak of opposites you always refer to black and white, they represent polarities. Black absorbs all aspects of light while white reveals light.

Use black in your life when you want:

  • For a restful emptiness
  • To become inconspicuous
  • To open the door of mystery and unknown.

Pink

Pink is the color of universal love. Lovers of beauty favors pink. A quiet love, a quiet color. Pink provides feelings of tenderness, caring, self-worth, love, acceptance.

Pink is the combination of red and white. White has the potential of fullness, openness, new beginnings, red helps you to achieve that potential. Pink combines these two strong energies.

Use pink in your life when you want:

  • Calm feelings
  • Express love
  • Acceptance, contentment
  • Dark pink like magenta helps to neutralize disorder and violence.

Purple

Purple symbolize magic and mystery, as well as royalty. It´s the color of good judgement, spiritual fulfillment, purpose.

Purple or violet is the combination of red and blue, the warmest and coolest colors. Red is a focusing, dynamic and active while blue is cooling, calming and expansive. Red brings practicality to the expansive of blue, allowing more creative energy to emerge. Purple is believed the ideal color, favorite between artists. 

Use purple in your life when you want:

  • Deep meditation
  • Peace of mind
  • To use your imagination to its fullest
  • To re-balance your life
  • Energize from depression
  • To remove obstacles

Brown

The color of the earth associated with material side of life. People who prefer brow are often conventional and orderly, the negative meaning of brown can be a repressed personality or a lazy person. Too much brown can make a dull effect. Brown gives a feeling of solidity and allows to stay in the background, unnoticed.

Brown is the combination of red, blue and yellow, some shadows of brown can create a warm, comfortable feeling of wholesomeness, naturalness and dependability.

Use brown in your life when you want:

  • A wholesome feeling
  • To blend with the background
  • Connection with the earth
  • Stability

    Nice to know about these colors, i always took lot of pink and purple dresses but now have changed to other colors also.
