By Bryan Wegman.

    360. The whole world around me. I’m surrounded. Above everything. Staring off into the mountainous distance. Alone. Content. Clouds couldn’t even make it up here. Tree’s gave up growing awhile back. Just me the rocks and a whole world around me. Lakes down in the valley look so small from here. Everything looks tiny. I lay my head back on a rock and fall asleep.
“Hello there Mister. Mister… Ooguhbuga! Sleeping I see that must mean your tired. Should I leave you alone.”
As the blurs in my vision faded away I began to see that a girl was standing over me peering down at me. A shorter girl. Brown hair. Blue eyes. Pretty cute actually.
“No it’s Ok I was just taking a nap, have a seat”
“Why thank you, who are you”
“Just a person, but shouldn’t I be asking you that. You were the one who woke me up screaming at me”
“Oh yeah. Was checking to see if you would wake up if I tried throwing you over the mountain”
“What?”
“Lighten up it’s called sarcasm, you ever heard of it? Plus I would have stabbed you first to prevent you from fighting back first.”
“What?”
“Is that the only word you know?”
“No, no I know plenty of words.”
“Well now I know you know two words, What and no. What is interesting about you?”
“What?”
“Come on you got to stop that. I know your more intelligent than that and I hardly know you, but the uneducated crack head that lives down the street from me knows more words than you right now. What makes you interesting?”
“I don’t know”
I really didn’t know. I couldn’t think at all. This girl was jumbling my brain up. She had every receptor in my brain closed. I couldn’t think. I couldn’t even come up with any words for what I was trying to say. I’m supposed to be an author too and I can’t find words.
“So there is nothing interesting about you at all. Ok. I’m going to go then. No sense in me sitting here boring my self with someone whose never done a single thing with his life. Never even left his mother’s vag I guess because I’d even consider that something interesting, but I’ll be on my way”
She stood up and started walking. I was happy for a second. My head lightened up. I could think again, but I didn’t want her to go. I hadn’t talked to anyone in a couple of days. This little bit of communication was really turning my dark thoughts around. No longer was everything so evil and menacing, but life seemed more peaceful now. I felt a little glimpse of happiness for a second, but she was not turning around. She was really leaving. I yelled out to her to stop. I’ll talk I said, but nothing happened. She kept walking and didn’t even look back. I stood up and with my tired legs ran towards her.
“Hey come on stop. I’ll talk.”
She ignored me. Nothing just the back of her head. She must be serious. Should I just walk away. I walked towards the front of her and she had a smirk on her face. I couldn’t help, but to wonder what it was about.
“Man you are a horny one aren’t you. You stalk and follow all the girls that come up and talk to you.”
“No, no, no I swear I just haven’t seen anybody in a couple of days and I”
“And you want to fuck me. I know. Right here right now lets do it.”
“What?”
“Again with the what less questions more answers. Do you want to fuck me right here right now.”
“I um.. I would, but”
“But! I’m fat that’s it isn’t it. I’m ugly I knew it.”
“No, no, no your beautiful. Your not fat you are gorgeous actually. I can’t even take my eyes off you, but I just think that maybe we should talk for awhile before we jump into sex.”
“Man you’re a pussy. I think you are the only guy in this world that would not jump into an open pussy. Your gay aren’t you?”
“No”
“You so are gay oh my god.”
“Come on I’m not gay. I just wanted to talk for a second with someone.”
“Talking is definitely something a gay guy would do with a girl. Your not helping your argument here at all.”
“Fine I’ll have sex with you”
“Woah there killer is that the best pick up line you got. Jeeze how many girls have actually ever slept with you after you screamed that at them.”
“What?”
“Again with the what’s definitely is getting annoying. Think of another word at least to substitute with what for now on so you don’t annoy the shit out of me. Like for now on when you want to say what say giraffe. Actually look at the time. I got to head down now, or I’ll never make it down before the sunsets.”

And with that she took off and was gone. I was in shock. There was something about her that was driving me crazy. I couldn’t figure out what though. I didn’t want our conversation to end that way, but it did. I never even got her name. She was the most interesting girl I had ever talked to. She wasn’t like any other girl I had ever met. Maybe she was a little crazy, or something, but there was something about her I just loved. I got up to start heading down the mountain and in the distance I heard someone screaming. I started running towards the screaming. I got to the source of the noise and it was her. Screaming at me.
“Aren’t you going to walk me down this mountain. What kind of gentleman are you?”
