An opinion on the topic of conspiracies.

By Laird Chris Lilly

Conspiracies have been spread by countless obsessed people for years, who constantly look for tedious links to cover ups everywhere they go, sparking off startling coincidences whenever they see some initials, numbers or images, that read in a certain context fit into what idea of the truth they think is being hidden. Well this is true for some conspiracies anyway.

This one might touch a nerve with some people, but aren’t you sick of people talking about 9/11 conspiracies? I know I’ve grown tired of hearing how different [dollar] bills, if folded in a certain way represent the images of the events. So what if they do, I’m pretty sure I can fold a dollar bill into such a fashion that it reads: “You are paranoid” or “return to your day job”. There are too many coincidences everywhere, not everything is connected, and some things are just surprising and happen to fit into a scheme. Besides, who cares if there are images, when folded, on bank notes, what does it prove? If 9/11 was an orchestrated event that the US government did plan and cover up then why would they print their success on bank notes for the American public to enjoy? Bit of a slap in the face if you ask me.

Anyway I find it a shame when serious events are taken to those sorts of petty, pedantic extremes, just let it be, come back with some actual hard evidence that’ll stand up in a court of law that can really change things, until then stop undermining the severity of the event, don’t lead it to a parody because a lot of people will be very angry, since for some people that event really hit them hard. Now I’m not saying this to win favour with Americans here, since a lot of conspiracies originate in the US of A. The Kennedy Assassination for instance, everyone thought those people with their theories of the second gunman were nuts, but that was a valid, logical point that was being brought to the table, rather than the magic bullet theory, which when analysed is laughable. I’ll tell you who are laughing now, the conspiracy nuts, they were right, more credibility to those people who think they’re being watched 24/7 and that everyone’s DNA is on file at some secret vault underground somewhere.
