A brief look into the mind of Danny Roberts.

This God that everyone speaks of, this massive threat to mankind. What shall we do? Will we sit back and watch the world devote themselves to something as real and as animate as a Mongolian Zebra Tiger? I say no. It is time that people learned the truth. Maybe it’s not even so much to do with learning the truth as it is excepting it. Sometime in the near future we are going to be confronted with the fact that God never really existed in the first place. Was this a government conspiracy? Maybe it was, maybe it wasn’t. You’ll just have to read to find out.

Hey Danny,

I hope I’m misunderstanding you here. You seem to think that God is either not real, or a threat to mankind. I hope I’m reading you wrong. God is real, He’s very real. He’s even more real than you and me. In fact He created you and me, and where as you and me will cease to be someday, God will never cease to be. Furthermore, God is not a threat to mankind. In fact God is the only hope mankind has for it’s survival. Although, as previously noted, mankind will not always exist. We are by definition, a limited species. How long we will inhabit the Earth is unknown. But someday mankind will cease to exist. And where that may scare you, to a person who knows God it’s a time to look forward to.

I hope you’re young, very young. Because I did not always believe in God. When I was young I considered God to be a myth. But God has infinite patience with us, since He is in fact infinite Himself. He had big plans for me, and I am only now beginning to see them unfold.

So you might think I’m worried about you, but I’m not, and I’ll tell you why. If God is on your mind enough for you to have posted this short essay, then I think … no … I know that God has His eye on you. He wants you. Just like He wanted me. But He has to wait for you to seek Him. God is pretty insistent on not breaking His rule about free will. He needs for us to seek Him. You see Danny, God is doing something here. And it’s big, what He’s doing with us. And for His plan to succeed it’s absolutely necessary that we turn to Him of our own free will. I’m sure that someday you will.
