What is happening to our country.
I miss the way things used to be. I miss the love that we shared for our neighbors and how we all came together in a crises. I miss the days where I chose my charities and not the government for me. I loathe the self intitlement that has taken over our country. Every one does not have a right to have a job, a car, a cell phone or home. That is an opportunity. You have the opportunity to have those things because you live in a country where you can earn them. I miss the idea that working hard is the way to earn an income. I miss the love that we once had for the red, white and blue. I miss the respect we once had for our soldiers who so valiantly defend our freedoms. I miss the respect of our presidential office that has been reduced to a bit on local sitcoms. I miss the honor of living in a country where your ideas mattered. I miss the love that families share for each other. I miss the decency that stopped corruption in our towns, homes and government. I miss the steadfastness that people had to show that they care what happens to us a country. I miss the respect for the blood spilt by so many for what I enjoy today. I miss the ethics of business that once ruled our society. I miss our country. She is so quickly morphing into what has destroyed so many others. How do we get her back? What has to happen to get us back to where we used to be? We have a loving God, but sometimes we have to be brought to our knees so we learn to look up again. Pray for our county. Pray for our leaders. Do your part and love those around you. Care what happens in your community and home. Be a part of the solution and not another obstacle for someone who cares. Believe in yourself, your rights and your duty and honor. Make a difference.
