Life will not torment me anymore. I will build for myself a shield, a fence to surround myself with. There’ll be no need to scale this fence for my gates will be wide open. I know many people will walk straight in without my permission, but whoever goes beyond the main door is mine to decide. This year I will not cry. If it takes tears to soften the ground, shed yours. I will not be disturbed. No matter how bad the situation might be, I will shrug my shoulders, shake my head, sigh and move on. Yet I pray these things don’t happen to me.
