A Snowfall in Arizona and the mystique of anold horse drawn wagon. Just looking at this image makes conjres up images of the western pioneers. Those who came forth with their familes to travel the Oregon Trail to a new home which they had never seen before. They only had hopes and dreams, but with alot of hard works our pioneer forfathers carved out more than a homestead, they carved out a piece of history, and with that history comes us, the sons of Pioneers.
As much as I like this image you photography gurus may notice that this photographer did not follow the “rule of thirds”. A professional may of had the image of the Wagon off center.

This image of an abandoned farm house is spectacular. The skies and trees look very ominous as the storm clouds approach but the foreground and right side of the farm house make the image seem like a warm friendly area.
This photographers image uses light to perfection. I don’t believe the photographer planned the use of lighting but it came out looking very nice.
This is an image I would love to have hanging on my wall. This photograph reminds me of my own life. Things look dark and ominous but a mentor will show me a different direction for a life and all of a sudden my life looks bright and sunny.

A vast prairie of emptiness. If the men who built this old home were still alive they would be very proud of their craftsmanship. Snow, wind, rain, tornados, hail, and the occasional transient with an open fire could not bring this building down to its foundation.
If only we as people could be as strong as this building, too last that many years. Its just a matter of time before termites rot the wood and bring the building crashing down suddenly. We as humans have termites too, its the various forms of cancer that are constantly crippling and killing our fellow mankind.
But when I look at an image such as this old home staying around for all its worth I smile, because I the building will have an after life. The wood will disenegrate into the ground providing nourishment for future vegetation. That vegetation will provide the nourishment for a young man to enable him to build a home of his own.
This image reminds me that I too will have an afterlife, providing aid and nourishment to future generations.
The 3 images I just showed are great examples of some of the exce;lent photography you can find on Picable.
